Ho'okiki

I’m loving painting the west Maui’s, this one with the rainbow and mist is just soothing my soul. Lahaina was my town for so many years, that’s where I brought my daughter home from the hospital, where I met some of my best friends, where I surfed, laughed, loved. My husband and I got married on a boat in front of Olowalu with the west Maui’s as the backdrop. We all have our stories of what Lahaina means to us and maybe this is my way of finally working through the grief of what a substantial loss we all are going through.

Each original acrylic painting is done on a wood panel, this 24"x24" piece is finished with a hardwood frame.

All originals come ready to hang with a cleat or wire.
