Hibiscus by The Sea

Hibiscus of the Sea is one of five of my Hawaiian fabric series. This painting has real sand to add texture along with resin for the water and the hibiscus is cut out of Hawaiian fabric where I painted over it and left some of the fabric exposed.

This unique 14" x 14" piece started as resin, acrylic and sand over a wood panel, then Hawaiian print fabric and acrylic paint finished with resin and includes a hand finished poplar frame.

All originals come ready to hang with a cleat or wire.
